Governor Nixon has signed three environmental bills from the 2009 session into law: a bill that incentivizes utilities to initiate energy-saving programs for ratepayers; a bill to extend the scrap tire fee and create the Energy Futures Fund; and an energy efficiency requirement bill. MVC worked to help pass these bills during the legislative session. |
