MVC's 2008 Candidate Endorsements

Part of Missouri Votes Conservation's nonpartisan mission is to support the election of pro-conservation candidates to the state General Assembly.  In election years, this support begins with an endorsement process.  Not only can an endorsement be an important boost to a candidate's campaign, but it serves a signal to Missouri voters that a candidate will commit to advancing sound environmental policy when he or she becomes a public office-holder.

We welcome you to review the MVC Endorsement Process, including our key criteria for endorsement.

On June 10, the Board endorsed a slate of candidates for selected competitive primary races for the Missouri General Assembly.  Click on 2008 Endorsed Primary Candidates to see the slate.   

MVC will announce endorsements for the general election after the August primaries.
