Legislator Recognition

One way to know if your elected leaders represent your conservation values is by knowing how they vote on specific pieces of legislation. An environmental legislative scorecard provides voters with a non-partisan, factual guide to lawmakers’ voting records, holding them accountable for their positions.

We didn’t do a Legislative Scorecard for the 2011 Missouri legislative session, but you can visit our 2011 Legislative Standouts page for a report of “Cheers and Jeers,” highlighting specific elected officials who voted for and against progressive environmental legislation during this year’s session.

To see how Missouri’s Senators and Representatives voted in the General Assembly in 2010 and previous years, visit our Missouri Legislative Scorecard page.

To see how Missouri’s congressional leaders voted on national environmental legislation last year, visit the League of Conservation Voters website to see the 2009 National Environmental Scorecard.
